De officiële poster en nieuwe stills van Hilary’s opkomende film ‘The Haunting of Sharon Tate’ zijn verschenen. De film verschijn 5 april op VOD en enkele Amerikaanse bioscopen.

Hilary heeft een award voor beste actrice gewonnen op het Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival voor haar rol in ‘The Haunting of Sharon Tate’ . De film krijgt daarnaast ook de award voor beste horrorfilm en beste regisseur. Het festival zelf wordt van 13 tot 22 februari gehouden in L.A.

‘The Haunting of Sharon Tate’ zal op 15 februari ook een screening hebben tijdens het festival. Het is nog niet bekend of Hilary hierbij aanwezig zal zijn.

De trailer van Hilary’s nieuwste film is verschenen, vooralsnog komt de film op 5 april in Amerika in de bioscoop. Er is nog geen Nederlandse release datum van de film bekend.

Saban Films heeft de rechten voor Hilary’s nieuwe film ‘The Haunting of Sharon Tate’ gekocht en kan zo de film gaan uitgeven in Amerika. Het is nog niet bekend wanneer dit precies zal zijn.

Saban Films announced at AFM it has picked up US rights from Voltage Pictures to true-crime psychological thriller The Haunting Of Sharon Tate starring Hilary Duff.

Jonathan Bennett (Cheaper By The Dozen 2) and Lydia Hearst (Between Worlds) also star in the film, which follows the pregnant actor Sharon Tate (Duff), plagued by visions of death in the weeks leading up to her murder at the hands of the Manson Family in 1969.

Daniel Farrands wrote, directed and produced the film. Lucas Jarach and Eric Brenner also produced through Jim Jacobsen’s Skyline Entertainment, which fully financed the film.

“The Tate Murders remain a horrifying cultural fascination, even nearly 50 years after they occurred,” said Saban Films’ Bill Bromiley. “Hilary is mesmerising as Sharon Tate. This is a brutal and unsettling story.”

Bromiley and Jonathan Saba negotiated the deal for Saban Films with President and COO Jonathan Deckter for Voltage Pictures on behalf of filmmakers.

Most recently, Saban Films acquired James Marsh’s King Of Thieves starring Michael Caine, Jim Broadbent, Tom Courtenay and Michael Gambon.

Hilary was begin deze maand in de studio om haar rol in ‘The Haunting of Sharon Tate’ na te synchorniseren, ook wel ADR genoemd. Hierbij neemt de actrice of acteur nogmaals zijn zinnen op in de studio om de kwaliteit van de gesprekken (geluid) in de film te verbeteren. Naar verluid zou de film nog dit jaar uitkomen, al is nog niet bekend wanneer dit precies zal zijn.
