We caught up with actress Hilary Duff to chat about everything from Season 4 of her hit television show Younger to becoming one of NYC’s most fashionable celebrities.

Tell us about your new wine partnership with Callie Collection.
Hilary Duff: The new Callie Collection is a specially curated collection of balanced and easy-to-enjoy wines with beautiful aromas and distinct fresh flavors of California’s Central Coast. I live in LA and consider myself a California girl, so I instantly loved that the Callie Collection wines pay tribute to California (“Cali”) and were so inspired by the California Central Coast where the wines are crafted. I also love pretty things and Callie Collection wines are gorgeous inside and out – the elegant poppy label, stylish Helix closure and delicious wines make me proud to pour them for friends and family.

Season 4 of Younger just started airing – what can we expect this season?
HD: The new season really dives into the consequences of the end of Season 3, which ended with lots of things very stirred up amongst most of the characters. Liza has obviously told my character, Kelsey, the truth, and Kelsey’s also no longer living with Lauren; and Josh and Liza aren’t really in a great place. Season 4 picks up with all that conflict – especially how Liza’s revelation affects her and Kelsey’s relationship moving forward, both professionally and personally.

What is your favorite part about filming in NYC?
HD: I love the energy of the city. There’s a constant buzz about it and I’ve had a great time exploring as much of it as I can during my off time. I also think the city itself has essentially become another character on the show – Brooklyn in particular – which is really unique.

You are always spotted looking so stylish and chic while filming your show. Where are your favorite spots to shop for clothes in NYC?
HD: I’m really lucky to work with an incredible stylist, Jackie Demeterio, on the show. I’ve been able to wear some really fun pieces as Kelsey. In NYC, I like to browse around different boutiques. One of my favorite ones is Warm in SoHo.

Where is your favorite spot in NYC to eat and drink?
HD: I really like Sant Ambroeus in SoHo. They have an amazing avocado toast – it’s actually on sunflower seed bread and they put spicy chiles on top, too. Every time I’m there, everyone is sipping rosé and enjoying themselves. It’s a great atmosphere with good vibes all around, and a great place for brunch or an early dinner with girlfriends.

Have you had the chance to see any theater in NYC?
HD: I have! I most recently saw “Dear Evan Hansen” a few weeks ago – what an incredible show. The entire cast gave a beautiful performance. Ben Platt was pure magic to me, so I’m thrilled that he and the show got so much well-deserved recognition at the Tony Awards this year.
