“At one point, she was very flirtatious with Scott,” a source told E! News. “The two talked for quite some time. Hilary was all smiles and looked happier than ever despite her recent split.”

Another insider claims that the duo left together and hit up 1OAK nightclub, but it wasn’t necessarily romantic.

“They were very casually chatting but no obvious PDA,” the source said.

Hilary recently called it quits with her trainer boyfriend Jason Walsh.

Duff, 28, kept her look boho chic for the outing, in a loose olive-green sweater and dark jeans. She capped off her outfit with a beige beanie pulled down over her ears.

Fitness trainer Walsh looked similarly casual in a gray henley, jean jacket and dark slacks. He wore a black baseball cap and kept his sunglasses hanging from the neckline of his shirt as he held firmly onto Duff’s hand.

The pair have stepped out together in public before, but have kept quiet as to the status of their relationship.

“Hilary is really into him and says he is sweet to her and is so hot. She’s really happy,” a source told Us Weekly back in June. “They spend at least four nights a week together and it’s getting serious.”

In May, the former child star was even spotted sharing a smooch with her ex-husband, NHL player Mike Comrie, after an outing in Beverly Hills, sparking speculation of a reconciliation. (The pair finalized their divorce in February.)

Despite their split, however, the exes have remained close for the sake of their 4-year-old son, Luca.

E! News has learned that although the actress has been spotted out and about with her personal trainer Jason Walsh, the twosome are not stepping into romantic territory, despite reports claiming otherwise.
“They went to dinner. They weren’t all over each other. He’s her trainer and they hang out,” a source tells E! News. “They are not dating. They hang out and they are friends.”
Duff and Walsh dined together at Petit Trois in Los Angeles earlier this week. The Younger star was dressedel in black leather pants and stilettos, and arrived with Walsh at the Hollywood hotspot around 8:30 p.m. on his motorcycle. The duo stayed for nearly two hours.

Meanwhile, the celeb and Mike Comrie’s divorce has been finalized almost one year after filing. The two went through with court paperwork a full year after they announced that they were separating.
Duff’s rep released the following statement at the time of their split: “They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other’s lives. They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son, and ask for privacy at this time.”

And they’ve continuously proven that statement to be true. Just last week, the former couple got together to celebrate their son Luca’s birthday.

In several photos posted onto Snapchat Sunday afternoon, fans were able to go inside a family dinner party held at the home of Hilary’s mom. “Family chaos at Mama Suz’s house,” Haylie Duff wrote as her baby girl Ryan was seen enjoying time with her auntie. Luca was later spotted riding a new scooter down the neighborhood streets.
“You….are magic my little big boy,” Hilary wrote on Instagram earlier in the day when showcasing a picture of her son. “Happy 4th birthday. My heart just explodes for you.”
